Why is Kuldeep Yadav not playing India vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test in Colombo?

Team India took on Sri Lanka in the second Test of the ongoing series between the two sides. The teams met at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground, Colombo, for the clash on August 23rd, and India came in to bat first after winning the toss. With the game kicking off, many fans wondered why star spinner Kuldeep Yadav is not in India’s playing XI for the game.

Following Manchester Originals' Sanjiv Goenka's confirmation, the Oval Invincibles, who sold their 49 per cent stake to the Mumbai Indians' owners, the Ambani Family, are set to rebrand themselves as MI London after the new ownership takes effect from October 1, 2025.
