The second edition of the RPL (Royal Premier League) made its return to Pulwama. The tournament kicked off on August 19th, and the conflict-affected area was quick to turn into a celebration of cricket as fans gathered in large numbers to celebrate the return of the tournament.

Following Manchester Originals' Sanjiv Goenka's confirmation, the Oval Invincibles, who sold their 49 per cent stake to the Mumbai Indians' owners, the Ambani Family, are set to rebrand themselves as MI London after the new ownership takes effect from October 1, 2025.
