Kevin PIetersen steps down as Delhi Capitals' mentor ahead of IPL 2026

The 19th edition of the IPL (Indian Premier League) is all set to kick off on March 28. Ahead of the new season of the tournament, former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen took to social media and revealed that he will be stepping down from the role of mentor of Delhi Capitals ahead of the new season.

Following Manchester Originals' Sanjiv Goenka's confirmation, the Oval Invincibles, who sold their 49 per cent stake to the Mumbai Indians' owners, the Ambani Family, are set to rebrand themselves as MI London after the new ownership takes effect from October 1, 2025.
