Hockey World Cup 2023: Germany on Sunday defeated the Belgium side in a thrilling final of the Hockey World Cup 2023 in shootouts by 5-4. The German side staged a brilliant comeback to win a third title as Belgium's title defence ended. The Honamas were once trailing by 0-2 in the first half before levelling the things and pushing the match to the shootouts, where they won by 5-4.

Following Manchester Originals' Sanjiv Goenka's confirmation, the Oval Invincibles, who sold their 49 per cent stake to the Mumbai Indians' owners, the Ambani Family, are set to rebrand themselves as MI London after the new ownership takes effect from October 1, 2025.
