Australia have become the new no.1 side in the longest format of the game after the ICC released the latest rankings on their official website. Team India, who had been no.1 in Tests since 2016, now slips to the third position in the rankings.

Following Manchester Originals' Sanjiv Goenka's confirmation, the Oval Invincibles, who sold their 49 per cent stake to the Mumbai Indians' owners, the Ambani Family, are set to rebrand themselves as MI London after the new ownership takes effect from October 1, 2025.
