India set new record with T20I series win against South Africa, move past Australia in elite list

The Indian team performed brilliantly against South Africa in the fifth and final T20I of the multi-format series. The two sides locked horns for the fifth clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, and the game saw the Men in Blue defend a target of 231, winning the game by 30 runs.

Following Manchester Originals' Sanjiv Goenka's confirmation, the Oval Invincibles, who sold their 49 per cent stake to the Mumbai Indians' owners, the Ambani Family, are set to rebrand themselves as MI London after the new ownership takes effect from October 1, 2025.
