Sergio Busquets announces retirement from football after end of MLS season

One of the greatest defending midfielders of all time, Spain’s Sergio Busquets, recently came forward and announced his retirement from professional football after the end of the ongoing MLS (Major League Soccer) season. Currently representing Inter Miami, Busquets took to Instagram to announce his retirement with a special video.

Following Manchester Originals' Sanjiv Goenka's confirmation, the Oval Invincibles, who sold their 49 per cent stake to the Mumbai Indians' owners, the Ambani Family, are set to rebrand themselves as MI London after the new ownership takes effect from October 1, 2025.
