UAE based cricketer gets 14 year-ban for attempted match-fixing

Mehar Chhayakar, a United Arab Emirates cricketer, has been banned for 14 years by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The ICC tribunal banned the cricketer from all forms of cricket in 2019 for violating the ICC and Cricket Canada codes.

Following Manchester Originals' Sanjiv Goenka's confirmation, the Oval Invincibles, who sold their 49 per cent stake to the Mumbai Indians' owners, the Ambani Family, are set to rebrand themselves as MI London after the new ownership takes effect from October 1, 2025.
