England skipper Joe Root, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson and the two Pakistan's rising cricketers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan were nominated on Friday for the CC Men's Cricketer of the Year Award for their consistent performances across formats.
