Lucknow, Ahmedabad two news IPL teams; RPSG, CVC Capital win bids RPSG group and CVC Capital have won the ownership rights of the two news IPL franchises in the IPL. RPSG group got Lucknow for Rs 7100 crore while CVC Capital Partners won the bid for Ahmedabad for Rs 5624 crore.

Following Manchester Originals' Sanjiv Goenka's confirmation, the Oval Invincibles, who sold their 49 per cent stake to the Mumbai Indians' owners, the Ambani Family, are set to rebrand themselves as MI London after the new ownership takes effect from October 1, 2025.
