Emirates Cricket Board receives 'Letter of Intent' from BCCI to host IPL 2020 in UAE

The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) on Monday confirmed that they have received the official "Letter of Intent" from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to stage the 13th season of the Indian Premier League in the UAE. The ECB, however, awaits the final confirmation from the Indian government.

Following Manchester Originals' Sanjiv Goenka's confirmation, the Oval Invincibles, who sold their 49 per cent stake to the Mumbai Indians' owners, the Ambani Family, are set to rebrand themselves as MI London after the new ownership takes effect from October 1, 2025.
