BCCI handed dress down by Sports Ministry for conducting dope tests

It is no secret that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Sports Ministry don't see eye to eye and it has been learnt that days before the whole Prithvi Shaw fiasco unfolded, the government had come down heavily on the Indian cricket board and its anti-doping set-up.

Following Manchester Originals' Sanjiv Goenka's confirmation, the Oval Invincibles, who sold their 49 per cent stake to the Mumbai Indians' owners, the Ambani Family, are set to rebrand themselves as MI London after the new ownership takes effect from October 1, 2025.
