Smriti Mandhana signs with Hobart Hurricanes for Women's Big Bash League 2018-2019

India's T20I vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has been snapped up by Hobart Hurricanes for the fourth edition of the Women's Big Bash League. Harmanpreet Kaur, who signed a two-year deal with Sydney Thunder ahead of the 2017 edition, will also be returning for her third successive season in the league.

Following Manchester Originals' Sanjiv Goenka's confirmation, the Oval Invincibles, who sold their 49 per cent stake to the Mumbai Indians' owners, the Ambani Family, are set to rebrand themselves as MI London after the new ownership takes effect from October 1, 2025.
